Saturday-Night Theatre: A Fall of Moondust

on BBC Radio 4 FM

by Arthur C. Clarke adapted for radio by Andrew Lynch
The fourth in an occasional series that follows the writing of science-fiction from the turn of the century to the present day.
Time: the 21st century Place: the Moon
Following a moonquake, the tourist-cruiser Selene sinks 15 metres into the dust of the Sea of Thirst. That dust is more liquid than sand, flows quicker than syrup and slower than water. No rescue attempt under such extraordinary condition has ever been mounted.
