The end of this fly-on-the-ward series runs the gamut of emotions from hope to joy when we look in on the children of the Alder Hey hospital.
Burns victim Farris [text removed] has plans to run in the National Junior Athletics Championships for the Disabled, but first he needs to get the all-clear from nurse Mike Callaghan on his recurrent knee injury.
We revisit another sports fan, Andrew [text removed], who is in for a surprise as he awaits the verdict on his chest infection. And ten-year-old Steven [text removed], who suffers from brittle bone disease, attempts to walk for the first time after an operation on his foot.
The patients and carers of Alder Hey will be back for a second series in the autumn.
