Who Shall Censor the Censor
J. LEE-THOMPSON , director of Woman in a Dressing Gown, considers that the present film censorship is a handicap to film makers in their competition with television. He argues the case against the present form of censorship and makes proposals for revising the system.
Museum Piece
Probably the first experiment in ' radiophonics ' (or a forerunner of musique concrete) was Week-End, a montage of natural sounds and effects made in 1929 for the German radio by the late Walther Ruttmann , whose films included the well-known Berlin. Excerpts from Week-End are introduced by Ruttmann's friend PAUL FALKENBERG in conversation with GIDEON BACHMANN
