3-' When the Gentlemen Go By '
Production by Josephine Plummer
Trapped in the hidden room of Morley Manorl This is where Jem's curiosity and determination to find the owner of the jewelled glove have led him. He had waited until everyone in the house was asleep, and then set out to discover what lay behind the moving panel in the music room. He found himself in a neat, well-lit room, with three men seated at a table. One was Captain Jocelyn, the second was the highwayman, Mr. James Voyle. And the third man he had never seen before. He was small, thin, and unsmiling of face, his powdered hair caught back in a black bow, his many-caped riding coat all splashed with mud; and on one hand he wore-a jewelled glove.
