Roy Newsome introduces a concert by the new British Open Brass Band Champions of last Saturday's contest in Manchester. The concert includes the first broadcast performance of this year's test piece by Philip Wilby. Composed especially for the 141st Championship and entitled Masquerade, it takes its inspiration from Verdi's opera Falstaff.
