This slapstick tribute to the famous 30s series opens in Hawaii where Charlie Chan unmasks the Dragon Queen as the killer of his son's prospective father-in-law.
Years later in San Francisco where his Chinese-Jewish grandson, Lee Jr, is also practising as a private detective, Grandpa Charlie is called in by the police to solve a series of bizarre murders....
