Match of the Day Live: Olympique Lyonnais v Blackburn Rovers

on BBC One London

Live coverage of tonight's Uefa Cup first-round, second-leg match from Lyon France (kickoff at 8.05pm)

Despite looking the most likely team to score for much of the first leg, Blackburn Rovers succumbed to a spectacular late winner from Lyon defender Jacek Bak to trail on going into this evening's clash. Manager Roy Hodgson's men need to reverse the poor scoring record that has seen them struggle to keep up with the early-season pace in the FA Premiership, especially as they can expect to face a defensive Olympique Lyonnais side eager to preserve their vital away goal scored at Ewood Park a fortnight ago.

Introduced by Desmond Lynam with Alan Hansen.
