Mrs. Dale, the doctor's wife, records the daily happenings in the life of her family
Script by Lesley Wilson
As Dr. and Mrs. Dale were about to leave Sanbourne, Mrs. Freeman rang to say
Tiggy was missing. Isabel decided to return with them immediately. Shortly after they arrived at Virginia Lodge Tiggy appeared. He had been at the railway station all day awaiting his father's return. Trudi received a Valentine, which openly annoyed Bob; but he was well pleased when he sold a flat and its contents for more than a thousand pounds. Tuesday was Sally's birthday and Richard Fulton took her out to celebrate. When they returned to Sally's flat they found Tony Coppard waiting for her in a drunken mood. Mrs. Freeman heard that Dr. Dale was going to visit his solicitor and also a specialist, which rather troubled her.
