Sheila Tracy presents the BBC Big Band, conducted by Barry Forgie , in a celebration of the career of saxophone section member Vic Ash. Vic, who celebrated his 65th birthday last month, also celebrates 45 years as a professional musician this year. His career has included spells with the bands of Kenny Baker and John Dankworth as well as accompanying such jazz greats as Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra.
