MRS. DALE'S DIARY

on Light Programme

Script by Jonquil Antony
Produced by Betty Davies and Eileen Cullen
Mrs. Dale writes:
It's been a disturbed week. Sally has been edgy about going away, and Caradoc is dissatisfied with his job. Elsie was distressed when Mother broke it to her that Mr. Bonner did not want to marry her; Mrs. Maggs started the spring-cleaning and then abandoned it, and now even Mr. O'Malley is finding Mrs. Mountford a nuisance. I was rather cross with Jim for not telling me that Charlie Sheans was in hospital-but I did feel proud of him when Louise told me about his brilliant diagnosis. The only happy one was Sue, who had a date with her yellow-taxi friend.
