The annual Wine Auction at the Hospice de Beaune is preceded by a banquet of the Chevaliers du Tastevin at Clos Vougeot, and followed by another in the cellar of the Hospice at Beaune and a third given by the wine growers of Meursault. Speeches in praise of wine- and traditional Burgundian songs decorate these festivities.
