H. G. Fleet
H. G. Fleet , Ulster's radio gardener, scouts the idea that a greenhouse is an expensive luxury. The ordinary unheated greenhouse, he says, can be a source of great pleasure and help. Plants wanted for spring and summer bedding can be brought on in an unheated greenhouse so that their flowering period begins almost as soon as they are planted out. Provided the right type of plant is chosen, there will be blooms nearly all the year round.
