The Joy of Text - Text Maniacs

on BBC One London

With almost one billion messages sent each month in Britain, this documentary explores both the amusing and serious sides of the text phenomenon. In conjunction with this programme, the BBC will conduct the first live national text poll, with results on screen seconds after the text responses arrive. A selection of viewers' personal messages will be screened and collected in a book, to be published later this week. Text Night concludes at
11.30pm with some adult-orientated issues.
