Songs of Praise Summer Special
Sue MacGregor visits Carla Lane , writer and creator of The Liver Birds and Butterflies, at her home in the suburbs of Liverpool. Born and brought up on Merseyside, it remains a natural setting for her work and for the mixture of comedy and tragedy which fascinates her. This week's music reflects this and is sung by THE BULMERSHE GIRLS CHOIR and the READING MALE VOICE CHOIR COnducted by GWYN ARCH.
