Casualty

on BBC One London

Tonight, Holby City Hospital closes its doors on another series with a storyline that will have fans of clinical nursing manager Charlie Fairhead on the edge of their armchair.
In Hidden Agendas, Charlie reaches the age of 40, but his mind is less on celebration than on resignation. After 20 years in casualty he's had enough of the politics and staff shortages. The final straw comes when he discovers that he'll only get the two extra nurses he's been promised if he loses a senior staff nurse - namely Ash.
Casualty returns for a new series in the autumn but will Charlie and Ash still be there?
