Abortions should be available on request within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy
It is proposed by Diane Mun day, jp, of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service and opposed by John Selwyn Gummer , author of The Permissive Society and formerly a Vice-Chairman of the Conservative
Party with special responsibility for youth.
Each advocate will call his witnesses, cross-question his opponent's, and argue his case. The jury will vote at the beginning and end of the trial so that a swing of opinion may be measured and a verdict reached. Producer HUGH PURCELL
