THE ALTERNATIVE SOCIETY

on BBC Radio 4 FM

'You can'really make true friends because you never really meet enough people to make friends with.' That is one 21-year-old's view of conventional society, so like hundreds of others he has dropped out to join the world of the ' Alternative Society.'
This programme looks at that society. It's a highly idealistic world, and in many ways it's impractical, but the people themselves put forward their own views in their restaurants, homes and communal centres
