In 1856 Philip Henry Gosse , father of Edmund Gosse , published a detailed record of a summer holiday spent at Tenby, describing many of the sea anemones and marine objects to be found on the coast. This year Stephen Bone on his holiday took the book with him to the same scene and found much that was unchanged
