Panorama's Julian Pettifer is the first independent British reporter to go into Communist China since Anthony Grey was placed under house arrest in Peking.
With Panorama cameraman Ian Stone and sound recordist Robin Green, Pettifer spent two weeks filming life today in Mao's China - life after the turmoil of the cultural revolution. Tonight's programme - a report on what they found in China today.
