11 — ' Strange News from the City '
Cast in order of speaking:
Martin and Mark arrive at the Blue Dragon, where a delighted Mrs. Lupin soon tells them all that has happened in their absence. They go to Pecksniff's house, as Martin wishes to see his grandfather and Mary Graham , but old Martin appears to be completely in Pecksniff's power and will not speak to him. Martin sees Mary, only to be separated again after a few mpments.
He and Mark travel to London and go straight to Tom Pinch , who takes them to John Westlock , where they listen with horror as Lewsome tells how he provided Jonas with poison for the murder of Anthony Chuzzlewit. Meanwhile Jonas, in a desperate attempt to escape the penalty of one crime by carrying out another, has stolen back to the country and murdered Tigg Montague.
