Ramadan Journeys

Third in a four-part series of personal journeys for the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Abdullah Ibrahim is an internationally renowned jazz pianist living in New York. However, he was born in South Africa and since Nelson Mandela came to power he has returned each year to his native Cape Town. Ibrahim describes Ramadan as a challenging and creative time when new ideas flow.
