Sunday Play: Dianeira

on BBC Radio 3

By Timberlake Wertenbaker.

A group of students meet a storyteller in a cafe. She tells them a story of anger, passion, jealousy, sexual betrayal and revenge. It is an ancient story, but it could have been told of any time and any place where war and desire wreak havoc on hapless individuals.
