Songs of Praise

on BBC One London

As the countdown to Christmas begins, Songs of Praise returns to Godmanchester in Cambridgeshire, where, 28 years ago, its first featured interviews took place.
Pam Rhodes meets some of those who appeared in the original broadcast, and catches up with the director of that programme, Bill Nicholson , who went on to be a screenwriter on films such as Gladiator and Shadowlands. Hymns include 0 Come, 0 Come Emmanuel and Lo! He Comes with Clouds Descending.
