The first collection of Welsh airs published in Wales was that of Miss Jane Williams, Aborpergwm. This appeared in 1844 and contained such favourite old airs as Y Fwyalchen, Bugeilio'r Gwenith Gwyn, and so on. You hear these and many other charming old tunes in this programme.
