Doc Cheatham - The Complete Jazz Trumpeter Doc Cheatham is a true jazz legend - a man who formed his style in thejousting atmosphere of 1920s Chicago alongside King Oliver and Louis Armstrong , went on to play in the big bands of Cab Calloway and Teddy Wilson , and who then became one of the most sought-after mainstream trumpet soloists of his time.
