' Decorating the Outside of the House'
W. P. Matthew
It takes more than flowers to make a garden. There are paths, fences, gates, and walls to be looked after. Any of these, falling into disrepair, may give the richest garden a look of slovenliness-and so will a shabby house-front. The more useful then is this fortnightly series of practical talks, which are a follow-up to a previous successful series by Mr. Matthew broadcast earlier in the. year. They are aimed primarily at the owner of the small house and garden who either prefers or is obliged to look after all these things for himself. This is the second of a series of five talks, which will alternate with Friday-evening garden talks.
