A Letter to Ghandiji The first of four programmes in which
Mark Tully , recently retired as the BBC's Correspondent in India after nearly 30 years, writes to his mentor
Mahatma Gandhi.
In a letter characterised by both deep affection and frustration, Mr Tully re-examines some of his own values, and questions his guru as he looks at the way India has lived up to the hopes and dreams Gandhi had for the sub-continent prior to its independence.
