The Economics of Impatience by TONY KILLICK
Is Ghana's economy in ruins? If it is, was it ruined by the actions of Dr. Nkrumah? Tony Killick , Tutor in Economics at Ruskin College, Oxford, answers ' No ' to both these questions. He argues that the problems of the Ghanaian economy are no different from those of other underdeveloped countries, and that they cannot be easily or rapidly solved merely by correcting Dr. Nkrumah's mistakes.
