Mr. James Agate
Lewis Waller , Sir Herbert Tree and Arthur Bourchier
Stirring memories of past nights in the theatre will be revived by this series. With Mr. James Agate , lately broadcasting's dramatic critic, as compere linking plays and players together, famous theatrical stars will be heard in parts they made memorable in a series that will form virtually an illustrated history of sixty years of dramatic art on the English stage. Tonight three great artists of the past will be heard in recorded extracts from Shakespearean plays.
