From 8.0 to 8.30 listeners are to hear Harold Ramsay and his Rhythm Symphony Orchestra, who won fame with their first broadcast in August. This evening they are to feature the ' Five o'clock ' fox-trot by Ravel, from his opera L'Enfant et les Sortilèges (The Child and the Enchantments). It represents a dance by the teapot and the cups and saucers, and is to be given for the first time by a rhythm band.
From 8.30 to 8.50 Hughie Green and his gang, just back from a triumphant tour of Scotland, are to give a new act.
From 8.50 to 9.0 Arthur Riscoe and his North Country nightingale are to give a brand-new topical act.
