The Late Film: One, Two, Three

on BBC One London

starring
James Cagney , Horst Buchholz Pamela Tiffin , Arlcne Francis
The career of an American executive in West Berlin is threatened when his boss's visiting 17-year-old daughter disappears behind the Iron Curtain and returns with a young card-carrying beatnik she has secretly married.
Among the targets for Billy Wilder 's machine-gun wit are capitalism, Communism - and that ubiquitous American invention, Coke! James Cagney gives one of the fastest and funniest performances of his career as the indefatigable MacNamara who manages to snatch success from seemingly certain disaster.
