Le Court, the first of the eight homes started by Group-Captain Cheshire, V.C., D.S.O., D.F.C., represents a unique approach to the problem of young people suffering from progressive incurable disabilities who need institutional care. It offers an environment where young men and women find the fulfilment of a richly active life in a brave and happy community based on the well-run family.
Although Le Court is recognised by and acts in partnership with the State services, it is a charitable organisation depending on voluntary gifts for its continued existence and development.
