Billy Ternent has been one of the busiest men in the dance-band world since the war He has played for "Band Wagon", "Itma" "Bits and Pieces", and many other radio Variety shows, as well as appearing on the air with his 'Sweet Rhythm' Orchestra.
Billy was playing in the orchestra of a Newcastle theatre when only twelve years old. At sixteen be was conducting for George Black, and thereafter worked with Jack Hylton, with whom he travelled all over the world producing some of the most delightful arrangements that have ever been featured by that famous dance orchestra.
