From a temporary studio in one of the colleges, Professor Andrade gives some notice to the week's work at the Empire Scientific Conference and then introduces Sir Lawrence Bragg , O.B.E., F.R.s., Professor of Experimental Physics, and Sir Joseph Barcroft , C.B.E., F.R.S.,Emeritus Professor of Physiology, who are to talk about some of the scientific research work that is being done in the University.
