MRS. DALE'S DIARY

on Light Programme

Script by Robert Turley
Repeated on Friday at 11.15 a.m.
Mrs. Date writes:
Jim has now talked to me about Mar. garet's illness and her decision to go to her son in Rangoon; and at the same time he tried to explain his own restlessness. The talk cleared the air a bit but we still feel rather unsettled in our relationship. Elsie is eagerly planning her wedding: she called on Wednesday evening while Jim was out to show us her wedding suit and the hat Sally has designed for her. Even Mother had to admit that she looked charming! Now that Vicky has decided to marry Max, Mother will be faced with a decision about the future of the antique shop.
