Odd-Jobs has made a good recovery and is going to a convalescent home at Hastings. Mrs. Dale had hoped to drive him there but there is to be a meeting of the Housing Committee on the day of his discharge, and she must attend it for Nancy Todd's sake. Dr. Dale and Mrs. Freeman, however, hope to stand in for Mrs. Dale. Gwen is about again, and very thrilled with her new son. Jenny is not quite so contented.
