Stanley Tudor , who has been organist of the Gaumont Théatre, Manchester, for over four years, was born in Stoke-on-Trent twenty-eight years ago, and started his career at the age of fourteen as pianist at the Capitol, Hanley. His signature tune, Singing in the Rain', is dedicated to the three weeks downpour which greeted his arrival in Manchester for the opening of the Gaumont Theatre in October, 1985
He has broadcast many times on the BBC Theatre Organ
