Jan Berenska and his Orchestra
At the age of fifteen Jan Berenska gave his first broadcast in the days of crystal sets from 5IT, the studio at Witton, Birmingham. Rather more than nine years ago he began broadcasting with his orchestra from Leamington Spa. In 1935 he formed his dance band and has toured it all over the .country. When still in his early teens, Berenska gave a recital in the Birmingham Town Hall, playing three instruments piano, violin, and cello—and he has made a celebrity tour with Peter Dawson.
