Omnibus tells the story of Sir
Alexander Korda in a tribute by another distinguished
Hungarian, the film director Peter Sasdy , and it features contributions from many stars and extracts from the best of Korda's spectacular movies. This week the story moves from a remote village in Hungary, through Korda's years in Europe to his early triumphs in England and the establishment of the huge Denham studio complex.
Korda's The Ghost Goes West follows at 11.10.
