Children's BBC: Newsround Extra

on BBC One London

Around the world, there are millions of children with nowhere to live - their only home is the street. Central America has many 'street-kids' and from there two young Newshounds send a dramatic report. Paul Coyne, 13 from Gateshead and Laura Barnes, 14, from Larne in Northern Ireland, won a Newsround Sport Aid contest to find young journalists, and their assignment took them to the back streets of Guatemala City.
