In the three years since the Velvet Revolution, the city of Prague has been considering urgently how to preserve what remains of its architectural splendour. Martin Burt reports on the efforts being made by British and Czech architects as they work on the churches and palaces, the Tyl Theatre and the townhouse facades of the old quarter.
