The Attleborough Experiment

on BBC One London

In the small Norfolk town of Attleborough local experts like Mr Last the beekeeper, Mrs Dor rell the lacemaker and Miss Hull the football referee are all willing to teach others their skills. But until last autumn nobody had thought of asking them.
Then, in an unusual experiment, the people of Attleborough were asked what they would like to teach - and to learn.
In a week when people all over Britain are enrolling for evening classes, this film shows how one town is trying to bring its teachers and learners together.
