Epic retelling of Edgar Rice Burroughs's classic tale, starring Christopher Lambert, Ralph Richardson

When Lord Clayton and his pregnant wife are shipwrecked off the African coast in 1886, a legend is born.
Their son John, reared by apes, is master of the jungle - until a hunting party strays into his territory, bringing with it the violence of civilisation and leading John to his heritage.
