Golf: The Open

on BBC One London

The 114th championship from Royal St George's, Sandwich. In 1981, the year this great championship was last held at Sandwich, three players achieved holes-in-one at the short par three 16th. That hole is featured again today as the world's top golfers complete their second round. Of the 150 starters only 80 will survive the 'cut' and go forward to tomorrow's third round. HARRY CARPENTER introduces live coverage.
