' The Nile in the Desert'
K. H. HUGGINS
K. H. Huggins , Lecturer in Geography at the University of Glasgow, is the planner of this year's geography course for schools. Last year he visited a number of countries in the Near East and today he is going to tell schools what he saw from an aeroplane when he was flying from Port Said to Cairo.
He will also describe some of the villagers and farmers in the upper part of the Nile valley, and how they manage with the river's help to grow food in the middle of the desert.
