The Bradford Experiment
The most controversial race relations experiment in Britain is taking place in Bradford, where a third of babies born today are of Asian origin. The council has introduced radical measures in local schools to meet the demands of Asian parents. But the experiment is running into trouble. Some blacks feel the council has not gone far enough, and many whites resent the changes already introduced.
David Lomax reports.
