Tomorrow's World ... in Singapore

on BBC One London

with Judith Hann and Peter Macann
This week Judith and Peter are joined by local reporter Angelina Fernandez as they explore the technology and some world-beating science generated by the booming economy of Singapore.
There's the first baby born by a new method which offers hope to childless couples all over the world. A unique system of land reclamation, as the island grows the only way it can - out into the sea. And the world's first underground train system - with on-board telephones.
And in Singapore, it seems, everything from baby strollers to lawn mowers will soon be remote-controlled! Producer CYNTHIA PAGE
