Against All Odds: The Horse and His Boys

on BBC One London

Another in the series of factual dramas using actors and real-life testimony to retell stories which are almost too astounding to be credible.

A comic tale of hopes, dreams and a horse called Irus in which enterprising teenage twins Steve and Paul Cheatle hatch a cunning plan. They fulfil a dream by buying a racehorse, breaking it in and training it for the big race - while all the time keeping it a secret from their mother.
