Edinburgh International Festival 2000 The UK premiere of Ernest Chausson's 1903 opera Le RoiArthus - a concert performance given last month at the Edinburgh Festival Theatre. Strongly influenced by Wagner's Tristan und Isolde, Chausson's richly romantic score tells the tragic triangular love story of King Arthur, his queen and Lancelot.
