Aida
American director Robert Wilson 's critically acclaimed production of Verdi's grandest of grand operas comes to the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Egypt and Ethiopia are at war, and among the captives taken by the Egyptians is Aida, the Ethiopian king's daughter. When her captor, Princess Amneris, discovers they are rivals forthe attention of the Egyptian captain Radames, an intense and tragic drama unfolds. Presented by Stephanie Hughes.
